Around the World in Story
An Exe-treme Imagination event
The World Stories project is a project run by Kids Out charity, funded by the Esmee Fairbairn Foundation. The project is based on the idea that stories are really important. They can help us understand each other and learn about other cultures, and they can help us celebrate our own traditions. Most of all they are fun!
Throughout the day, the stories from the World Stories project will be read or told in English, and sometimes in the first language. Stories will be told by local author Ellen Renner; Nigerian storyteller, Abimbola Alao; the Global Centre; and University of Exeter students and staff, in celebration of cultural diversity across the city.
