Opera North is England’s national opera company in the North and one of Europe’s leading arts organisations. In Harmony Opera North has been running since 2013 in south Leeds and currently works in 6 primary schools and 1 secondary school with over 2,500 children and young people each week. As we look forward to the next 10 years of In Harmony Opera North an opportunity has arisen for an experienced, well-motivated upper strings tutor to deliver a year-round programme of high quality and engaging group instrumental tuition at the In Harmony Opera North partner schools.

The successful candidate will have a solid classical music training and be able to demonstrate experience of working professionally delivering engaging and high-quality group instrumental tuition to children and young people. This post is subject to satisfactory DBS clearance and the ability to work across locations.

Salary: £27,316 per annum
