This was painted from a still life of a jug and ladle, it is done by painting the surrounds of the subject instead of the subject itself. I chose to paint it just with black acrylic as I think it really gives an abstract view point. Maybe if many colours had been used it wouldn’t have had the strong impact that I wanted to impart.
