Judy Dewhirst artist and lantern maker
I paint the Devon countryside in all its glory. My inspiration is to try to capture the beauty of Dartmoor, the South Devon coastline and the Rivers Teign and Dart in acrylics and water mixable oils.
I also make willow and paper lanterns and teach Ipplepen villagers how to make them for the St Andrew's Lantern Procession which takes places around 30th November every year (Covid willing).
