JJ's Host Guest Speaker: Hilgrove Kenrick (Composer)

JJ’s Arts Academy will be hosting its first guest speaker of 2015 in March and we would like to invite you all to attend this exciting event.

Hilgrove Kenrick will be giving a talk about his life and career as a professional composer, interestingly using music software and working in his own studio to create his compositions. Based in Worcestershire with periodic sojourns in Los Angeles, Hilgrove has composed music for a wide variety of films and two of the biggest current computer games franchises, Need for Speed: Shift (2009)and The Walking Dead: Assault (2012).

He is co-writing and producing two albums for established US artists and having released two singles, has finished a solo album of piano improvisations which was launched in the autumn (2013). Hilgroves most recent release was a single with Christine Hals (vocalist on Frozen).

Kenrick Hilgrove will be visiting us on Tuesday 3rd March with the talk to be held at 6.30pm in the Lecture Theatre at Seale Hayne. Seale Hayne is found just off Ashburton Road, TQ12 6NQ.

Hilgrove is visiting us in between working in LA and composing for a documentary and so we are looking forward to welcoming him to JJ's Arts Academy.
