Jeff became interested in drawing on early retirement in 1979, and has since worked in a variety of medium, though he has developed a special affinity to watercolour and oil. Impatience has led him to use Alkyd, quick-drying oil, though he is willing to be convinced that the traditional form is superior. His subjects have been mainly landscape, but he is endeavouring now to embark on a journey into less representational, more purely expressive forms.
