Project Obscurity

Project Obscurity was delayed form the 24th February 2013 to a new date of 24th May 2013.This was to ensure that all necessary bodies and or authorities would be able to contribute to an event that is very much going to be for the public.
Taking place from dawn to dusk, the Will's Monument, the Plains, Totnes, will be draped in fabric and secured with rope.This is an art form first used by Christo and Jeanne-Claude.This act of transfering the monument to become transient public installation is offered to provide a visual emancipation, a chance to look at something in a new way thus inviting the audience to lower their preconceived vision or be open for discussion.
At dusk the monument will be returned to its original form unscathed, the collective memory will exist and no more.
It is hope that visitors and viewers will contribute to the occasion and offer their opinion at the site.
There are potentially some very exciting things happening at the same time as the mounment remains wrapped.Luca Lamaro will be making a short documentary film at the site and maybe more.We shall up date this space as soon as we can confirm more news.
