Graphic Designer

Insignia Creative is a well established design and marketing agency based in Torquay providing clients throughout the UK and internationally with high quality on and offline design and marketing solutions.

With a wide client base ranging from small businesses through to large corporations and celebrities we have a wide variety of work constantly coming through our doors and we can promise an exciting and varied workload.

We are looking for a graphic designer who has a keen eye for quality and a flair for creating eye catching and creative solutions to a wide variety of customers requirements from logo and branding design, corporate stationery, promotional print, website design, email, social marketing and more.

They must be design led and have a keen eye and be hungry to learn about all aspects of the design industry, able to work alone and use their initiative but also to play nicely with others as often our larger projects are split across a team of designers and programmers within the office.

Print

Able to produce a wide variety of work from logo design, corporate stationery, leaflet and promotional print through to multi page brochures

Show an understanding of the print processes and be able to produce finished artwork that is ready for print, this includes working to tight deadlines for both our printers and third party publications such as newspapers and magazines

Web

Production of visuals and finished artwork that is then ready to be programmed for online use. Ability to design media for use electronically from eshot through to web banners and web adverts An understanding of HTML and CSS is desirable although not necessary.

We would be looking for the successful applicants to be commencing employment with us as soon as possible working within the Insignia Creative office at the Torquay Innovation Centre

Working hours will be from 9.00 am to 17:00 pm. In addition to a competitive salary successful will also be entitled to 28 days’ paid annual leave per year + bank holidays. We are also presently implementing Workplace pensions scheme and the successful applicants would be invited to join this when appropriate.
