Just starting up, Huddersfield Repair Cafe is about people that love fixing things doing some fixing for people that want things fixed. Along the way, we save stuff being landfilled, stop more of the earth's resources being consumed, cut a bit of carbon and hopefully, create community.
We also hope repair cafe might become a place where people meet and decide to do other creative maker/fixer projects together and an edge, where some greeny types might meet some not so greeny types and everyone understand each other a bit better.
