Hoot Homegrown is a series of early evening gigs set in our own friendly creative space with a cabaret feel, an acoustic vibe, and juice. It’s a chance to shamelessly celebrate the creative talents of Hoot staff, artists and group members. It’s for anyone at Hoot, our supporters and friends to meet, socialise, drink juice and celebrate the wealth of talent that is Hoot.

at Hoot Creative Arts, Milford Street, Huddersfield, HD1 3DX

To start the ball rolling are our very own String Fellows, a gloriously string-filled and song-fuelled ensemble playing their own peculiar brand of quirky acoustic music. Phil Russell, Rob Crisp, Chris Ruffoni from the staff team, ex student Barney Dove and friends and Hoot associates Sean Leonard, Andy Crisp, Bob Lockwood and Andy Spearpoint make up the band. For this gig they will showcase new and nearly-new songs to their repertoire, sprinkled with a few old favourites. Also featuring Guitar Orchestra and support from other homegrown acts.

Fruit Cocktails from our brand new Hooty Fruity juice bar complete an exotic cabaret evening of song, socialising and smoothies.
