Theatre performance about running with Dan Bye and Boff Whalley

These Hills Are Ours
Theatre performance: 7.30pm Saturday 21 May at Hade Edge Band Room, 56, Greave Road, Hade Edge, nr Holmfirth HD9 2AQ.

Award-winning Daniel Bye, and Chumbawamba founder member Boff Whalley, who is also a British champion fell runner, decide to run a series of routes from the centre of the city in which they find themselves, to the top of the peak overlooking that city.
In story and in song they discover more about the relationship between city and country, between wild and controlled, about land ownership, about why we’re drawn to wild places – and about what we’re really running from.
The performance is part of Holmfirth Arts Festival events for 2022, which are being spread out from April to October, at various venues across the Holme Valley, as well as the traditional weekend of top quality outdoor arts, music and street theatre in the centre of Holmfirth on 18 and 19 June,
