Singing tips from my Sofa - Exercise

It was lovely to get some fresh air as part of my daily exercise today and in this weeks edition of #singingtipsfrommysofa I thought I would share some of the physical exercises I do before I sing.

These exercises can be done from the comfort of your own home - even from your sofa!

It’s really important that your body is relaxed before singing. I stretch my arms and then let them relax by my side. I also make sure I move my ankles in a circle (clockwise and anti-clockwise). This is especially helpful if you are singing stood up for a period of time.
