Support Officer - Hertfordshire Music Service

Hours: 37 per week

Salary: £17,772 – £19,430pa

Contract: Permanent

Location: Hatfield

Job Duties:

Hertfordshire Music Service is part of the County Council and the lead partner for the Hertfordshire Music Hub. As the largest Music Service in the UK, it operates 13 Music Centres around the county, provides peripatetic tuition in most Hertfordshire schools and runs a thriving programme of challenging group activities for advanced young players and singers outside term time.

We are seeking an enthusiastic and musically knowledgeable administrator with proven organisational and diplomacy skills to join the County Activities team in delivering their programme around the county.

You will be a good communicator and proficient IT user with a keen eye for detail, and have a degree in Music or taken part regularly in a grade 8 plus ensemble.

You will need to be able to work flexible hours including some evenings and weekends, and most of the school holidays and travel independently around the county so a driving licence and access to a vehicle is essential.

The post holder will report to the Head of Activities & Projects and work closely with the team based in Hatfield.
