Musical Director - Potters Bar Community Choir

Tuesday evenings 7.30pm – 9.30pm Term Time only
At Wyllyotts Centre, Potters Bar (2 mins from railway station)

Our current Musical Director accompanies us on the piano and directs and arranges our music but this is open to negotiation.

The weekly fee (negotiable) covers preparing and leading the rehearsals but also includes choosing/arranging the material or at least adapting existing arrangements and sending it out to the choir as PDF’s to print. The current director also makes sound files for practise.

The choir is not auditioned and numbers around 50-60, Soprano/Mezzo/Alto/Men, some of whom can read music and many others who cannot. All are welcome and the aim is to enjoy the rehearsals and the twice yearly concerts (early July & early December). We sing everything from show tunes to folk to pop, jazz and blues to light classical.
