Customer Sales Officer for Royal Albert Hall Gala - Part-Time
Hertfordshire Music Service are seeking a Customer Sales Officer to manage the Gala 2020 ticket line.
Hours: Approx. 16 hours per week (ideally four half days per week but can be flexible)
Location: Mid Herts Centre for Music & Arts, Hatfield
Post: Temporary fixed term for 8 weeks (13 January – 8 March)
The Hertfordshire Schools’ Gala on Sunday 8th March 2020 is a bi-annual concert at the Royal Albert Hall celebrating artistic achievement involving some 2600 pupils from Hertfordshire’s schools. Due to the large number of participants in the Gala, tickets sell very quickly through the Royal Albert Hall box office once they go on sale on Monday 13th January. Once these sell out, Hertfordshire Music Service will be handling the sale of the debenture seats, which are seats under the ownership of private companies or individuals, whom we have asked to donate their tickets.
We are seeking an enthusiastic administrator with excellent listening and communication skills and a strong phone etiquette to support the project officer in managing the ticket line for the debenture seats. Responsibilities include answering the Gala ticket phoneline, booking and allocating tickets, taking payment over the phone, processing orders, updating the database and other ticket administration.
