The Joy of Making, Wolverhampton Art Gallery

The Joy of Making is a celebration of traditional hand making processes explored through objects from our collection. Intricate baskets are shown alongside colourful Polish folk paper cut designs, needlework samplers, dolls and toys. A newly commissioned installation by Helen Snell adds a contemporary twist to the exhibition.

These objects have inspired community groups through our Arts and Social Care programme and their creations are displayed alongside our collection.
