Vacancy: Festival Manager

£25,000 (full time, fixed term 2-year contract to cover staff sabbatical)
Based in Huddersfield, West Yorkshire

Huddersfield Contemporary Music Festival (hcmf//) is looking for an outstanding Festival Manager to manage the day-to-day running of the organisation and deliver the UK's leading international festival of new music every November.

Together with the Artistic Director, Marketing Director and Development Manager, you’ll ensure that hcmf// delivers a programme of the highest international standard, that we maintain and develop our profile and that we reach the widest audiences possible. Working closely with leading international artists, you will be responsible for the successful delivery of the annual 10-day festival and our international ‘pop-up’ events, as well as the organisation’s financial management and the smooth administration of our office.

You will have demonstrable experience of delivering high quality events, as well as significant financial management experience. You’ll have outstanding communication and organisational skills, a creative and positive approach, and you’ll be able to work independently and to a deadline. Most of all, you’ll be a team player with a commitment to bringing the best of your skills and abilities to the organisation.
