Bees in a Landscape

South Devon is the perfect place to immerse yourself in the landscape, and within this landscape you can find a wealth of animal and plant life.

Alongside paintings of memorable views from the South West, we would like to introduce you to some of the remarkable bees you might encounter here. We hope to make you aware of the variety and beauty of these beneficial insects as a first step towards supporting important pollinators.

Bees in a Landscape is a joint art/science collaboration between local landscape painter Hazel Strange and scientist Philip Strange, who took the photos and wrote the blogs.
