My Body, My Self

My body is the starting point for my work, and through my art I aim to offer a respect and acceptance of the female body. With advertising promoting the perfect body, and the lure of technology leading to further disembodiment, I am committed to cherishing the body for itself, as the given place we live in, rather than a site to remake, modify or standardise.

This exhibition features paintings and body casts by Caroline Born, and selected works by Cea Blyth and Tati Dennehy.
