Hannah’s Gallery 2012 Gift Exhibition Submissions.

Hannah’s Gallery at Seale Hayne, Newton Abbot is holding its annual Gift Exhibition throughout November and December. We are offering the opportunity for submissions from new, emerging and established craftspeople/artists to this exhibition.

Hannah’s Gallery has been running since 2010 and is fast becoming established as a major venue for the visual arts in south Devon, with its bright and spacious exhibiting space. It has recently been selected as a venue for the Hayward Gallery touring exhibitions, including Michael Craig-Martin, Eduardo Paolozzi, and Henri Matisse. Hannah’s empowers, advocates and enriches the lives of children and adults with disabilities; all added gallery commission will directly be used to support the work of the charity.

For this exhibition we are particularly interested in 3D submissions: ceramics, textiles, and jewellery etc. any work that would make an ideal gift for a loved one. Ideally the pieces should be priced at £60 or less and submitted on a sale or return basis.

To submit work, please send a clear jpeg image of the piece or pieces to be considered, with a description of it, and your practice to gavinblench@hotmail.com. Deadline for submissions is 1st October, after which suitable pieces for the exhibition will be selected by panel.
