Getting started at HALS August 2021 (online event)

As this talk will be hosted using MS Teams, participants will need access to a computer, tablet or phone with audio. Instructions for joining the talk will be sent in advance via email, so please ensure that you provide a current email address when you book. Registration opens 15 minutes before the start of the event.

Although we recently re-opened to the public, things are a little different. All visits are currently by appointment only and you will need to order your documents in advance, so this session will show you:

• What to expect when you come for your appointment
• How to search our collections online (library catalogue, the Hertfordshire Names Online index and the archive catalogue)
• How to book your appointment
NB: This session will be partly pre-recorded, but there will be a live Q&A afterwards
