ARTS DEVELOPMENT OFFICER - Part Time/Fixed Term

St Albans Arts Team are seeking to employ a part time (24hrs p/w) Arts Development Officer for 12 months to cover maternity leave.
You will be responsible for maintaining and developing a programme of community arts projects promoting inclusion and wellbeing across the District.
You will lead on St Albans Arts on Prescription including developing opportunities for Social Prescribing.
You will develop and lead or support on projects which have well defined inclusion and/or wellbeing outcomes.
You will collaborate with other members of the Arts, Sport & Health team to identify and develop projects delivering outcomes aligned to St. Albans City & District Council’s corporate aims
You will support other Arts Development Officers in the delivery of major events
You will identify external funding sources and prepare or contribute to the preparation of bid applications to support the delivery of projects.
This post would suit an arts professional with some experience of working in a health and wellbeing context.
