Matthew Read Trio

Formed in 2015, the Matthew Read Trio brings together three like-minded approaches for music making, creating an exciting new performance every time they play. Drawing influence from the bands of Pat Metheny, John Scofield, Paul Motian and many more, MRT brings a fresh edge to the world of the guitar trio. After the launch of their first album Anecdotes in early 2016, the trio return playing a brand new set of melody-driven original compositions. The Matthew Read Trio will be visiting Speakeasy Torquay on the launch tour of their much anticipated second album Anecdotes Volume 2.
