I'm a PhD Student based at the University of Huddersfield researching Mechanics' Institutes and their impact on art, design and culture.
Currently working on an online project to bring museums, libraries, universities, technical colleges, and creative and community organisations, whose origins lie in the Mechanics' Institute Movement, together to celebrate their shared heritage. (Links and more info to follow as project develops)
