Saddleworth Group of Artists - 70th Anniversary Exhibition

We're excited to be hosting an exhibition by the Saddleworth Group of Artists, celebrating their 70th Anniversary this year. The Group was founded in 1950 by the watercolourist Ellis Shaw and friends, with the aim to “To study and practise the Fine Arts and to hold exhibitions and meetings”. L.S. Lowry, a frequent visitor, had work in the group's Saddleworth Festival show in 1957. Seventy years later, Saddleworth Group of Artists is flourishing with a membership of nearly 50 artists.

The exhibition runs from Wednesday 16th September to Saturday 24th October. Our new opening times are Wednesday to Saturday (10-3pm). Covid measures are in place but if you would like a private view please get in touch at gallery@enjoyart.co.uk
