Riviera Live!

This weekend Riviera Live is bringing free musical entertainment to Babbacombe, with the Creative Torbay stage set to stand on Babbacombe Downs, overlooking the beautiful Lyme Bay. The popular Brixham-based four piece band Swashbuckle will kick off the entertainment on Saturday at 2pm, with good time folk, sea shanties and Irish and American songs. On Sunday at 2pm, Devon-based folk group Spinach for Norman will perform. Their four musicians play tunes from a diverse range of cultures – Irish, Dutch, Jewish, Rumanian and Yorkshire – and draw on influences from Celtic, English, Yiddish, European and American folk traditions.
