ERFF 2017 Diana & Lucy Townsend: Something Wicked

Horror at Cockington Part 1

Creative mother and daughter team, Diana and Lucy Townsend will be describing their work producing and directing original screenplays films and showing clips from their work.

Diana has written and produced two feature films, the paranormal thriller Deadly Intent, and, most recently, the comedy horror Scareycrows,which will see its US premiere this autumn. She will be describing what inspired her to write the scripts and how the storylines evolved through the production period.

Lucy has directed a number of short films in addition to the feature, Scareycrows, and will be talking about combining horror with comedy, working with stunt co-ordinators, and the particular challenges of directing actors in unusual locations.
