Museum of Now: Delivering of the Objects
Ceremonial walk followed by: Exchange at the Gates at 4.30pm
On Monday 19th October, Torquay residents may spot a parade of women passing along the high street and up Babbacombe Road to deliver some unique new objects to the gates of the Museum.
Following a short exchange ceremony at the entrance gates, the objects will be received by Barry Chandler, the Museum’s Collections Manager, and will go on display as part of the Museum of Now exhibition.
The objects have been made by Torquay residents, inspired by their hopes and dreams for the future, and inspired by pieces in Torquay Museum's collections. The 'exchange ceremony' will be taking place at 4.30pm at the Museum gates. Why not join us and be part of this event yourself!
