Ellen Jewell Artist, Illustrator, Crafts Person
I graduated from De Montfort University Lincoln in 2000 with a BA Hons in Graphic Design and Illustration. I have worked as an Illustrator and Craft Person but in 2008 I decided to return to my first love Fine Art. I have been an active part of the reading Arts Regularly selling and exhibiting work.
Even though I do not live in the area I have strong family links with the Torbay. My Grandfather built the original 'milk bottle' in Cecil Road in Paignton and I belive my ancestor is Valentine Carey who was Bishop of Exeter and has a memorial in Exeter Catherdral. My Grandparents lived locally for years, my Dad and Aunt went to local schools. I spent most of my life holidaying in Torbay and now bring my family every year. I would like to make some art to celebrate my family past and present but I hear there is nowhere in Torbay to exhibit. Can you help?
