Defra through the RDPA has funded The Hillyfield to help boost our firewood making capacity. We are being given support to get a firewood processor and a grab to put on the front of the digger.
Given the huge amount of Japanese Larch we were forced to fell due to the tree disease Phytophthora Ramorum - we need this to handle the wood and add value to make it fit for market.
