Theatre Production Lead Roles (paid, Foot in the Door programme)

Doorstep Arts is looking for three young emerging candidates (aged 16-25) who are interested in learning theatre production (lighting, sound, costume, make-up, scenic design and stage management) by working on a Doorstep Arts production.

These roles will be paid a £200 stipend through Doorstep’s Foot in the Door mentorship programme.

These positions require individuals to use their own artistic vision, initiative and to work alongside a professional mentor technician or artist to create a strong original concept (with costume design, scenic design and stage lighting) for the upcoming Doorstep musical production The Woods. (This production teams Stephen Sondheim's Into the Woods with a wholly original musical.)

You should demonstrate an enthusiasm for learning theatre production, with a particular interest in one of the technical areas, but prior experience is NOT required. You may be asked to support and mentor younger students who work as a part of your team.
