These events are taking place as part of the Heritage Open Days festival, which takes place in September each year, to celebrate Dewsbury's rich architectural, social and industrial history
In 2022, the events are coordinated by the Dewsbury Heritage Action Zone initiative - a five year partnership (now in its final year) between Kirklees Council and Historic England.
All of the events are free of charge but many require advanced booking.
For a full list of the events taking place in Dewsbury, or across the rest of Kirklees, see the Heritage Open Days website: https://www.heritageopendays.org.uk/
