An evening of soup, socialising and crowd funding in North Kirklees.

Dewsbury Soup is a regular event - attendees pay a minimum donation of £5 for which they get a voting chip and a bowl of soup. They listen to four pitches and vote on their favourite. The winner takes all the money raised on the night.

Pitches are from organisations, groups, individuals - anyone who has an idea that would benefit the people of North Kirklees. They apply to pitch in advance; a panel of local judges decides who gets the four slots on the night; and then they get 4 minutes & 4 questions to share their story and win the voters hearts.
