Handel on the Move

Devon Baroque, the South West's foremost orchestra performing on period instruments in appropriate style, follows Handel's journeyings from his birthplace in Germany to Italy and thence to England where the cosmopolitan sheen created in his music delighted his audiences. Works to be performed include Overtures to his operas Almira, Agrippina, Alceste & Samson plus some concertos.
