Paradise Garden

"Paradise Garden" Sculpture by Deborah Treliving exhibited in the stableyard at Cockington Court Craft Centre as part of the Art Path Sculpture Trail 2018. Made using Living plants: semperviviums, echeveria and other succulents, potting compost with grit, wire mesh, landscape fabric, and wood.
Dimensions: 60cms high, 75cms, wide, 12 cms deep.
“Paradise Garden” is based upon a plan of an Islamic garden (four quartered Persian-style.) The different colours of plants represent the rills and gentle fountains of water, the pathways and fruit trees planted in sunken beds.
