David Coldwell artist and writer based in the South Pennines.

Much of David's work is based around the Pennines in Northern England with the occasional diversion to the sea. He focuses on the qualities of light and the effect that this has on land and sea studying the constant changes in atmosphere and mood. Drawing inspiration from isolated farms, wild moorland and deserted beaches, his work aims to capture these atmospheres and the power of the natural world.

David is also a published poet whose work has featured in a number of print and on-line journals as well as featuring in a variety of poetry anthologies. His debut collection will be published by Templar Poetry in 2017.

A professionally trained photographer and television camera operator, David previously worked within the media industry producing both corporate and broadcast content. He currently offers a selection of landscape photographs in a variety of print formats which are available to purchase on-line.

David has lectured in higher education (media) and delivered workshops in schools.
