Wardrobe Manager

Wardrobe & Costume Co-ordinator required for THE POLAR EXPRESS™ Train Ride at Dartmoor Railway a fully licensed Warner Brothers event, this festive season.

We are looking for a highly organized and self-motivated individual, to take charge of our Costume Department over the course of this premium event. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands on experience for anybody looking to work in the entertainment industry.

Duties to include: Costume and prop care organisation and preparation/collection from the laundering service, assisting the actors with dressing and insuring they are in full costume at all times, assistance with the application of fun (but basic) make-up/wigs/beards. The general up keep of the costume and costume department insuring it is in an organised, tidy and safe environment at all times. Any other duties as directed.

This role requires an energetic self-starter who is able to work an integral part of a large team in a sometimes pressured environment with tight deadlines (Showtime!) But, who is flexible and confident enough to work unsupervised using their own initiative and creativity. A fun upbeat personality and confidence in dealing with the public an advantage.
