Dartmoor Arts Project: Summer School 28 July - 3 August 2013

Dartmoor Arts Project is an artist run organisation and hosts a summer school in the Dartmoor village of Drewsteignton, just a few miles outside of Exeter. For one week every July we welcome a vibrant community of artists, architects, designers and makers drawn from all corners of the UK and beyond.

Dartmoor Arts Project Summer School offers a wide range of courses, taught by leading practitioners. We also present a rich and varied programme of talks, music, performance and screenings.

During the week young, emerging and established artists have the space in which to explore their practice and realise the possibilities of their work in an exciting, creative and supportive environment. Artists come together to discuss ideas and share experiences, learn new skills and develop existing ones.

Other courses on offer for 2013 include ceramic and cob sculpture, storytelling, drawing: 5 days, 5 approaches, painting in the landscape, spatial structures, Stone Carving, Print making and documentary film making. Bursaries will be available for the 2013 Summer School for young and emerging artists, architects and makers and those with limited finances.
