Call for Performers: HeckmondFRIGHT
Creative Scene are looking for performers aged 14 and over who would like to take part in HeckondFRIGHT on Saturday 31st October 2015. (Halloween)
HeckmondFRIGHT is a haunting story based on the town’s history enacted by a cast of weird and wonderful characters. As part of a walking tour for small groups, performers will guide the audience around some spooky spots in the Town Centre, and bring the story and the town to life on the tour, which also features live and recorded music and illuminated sets.
The story and characters have been created by writer Cathianne Hall (Emmerdale, Coronation Street) and will be directed by Tom Wright (Young Vic, West Yorkshire Playhouse, Freedom Studios)
We are looking for performers who can join us for rehearsals on:
Under 18’s
Monday 26, Tuesday 27th, Wednesday 28th, Thursday 29th, Friday 30th October
Each day 11am – 3pm at Heckmondwike Community Centre, Brunswick Street, WF16 0NW
Saturday 31st October:
2pm technical /dress rehearsal
Performance times 5pm to 10.30pm (Earlier end times will be arranged for younger performers)
Age 19 +
Wednesday 28th, Thursday 29th and Friday 30th October
Every evening 7pm-9pm Venue T.B.C
Saturday 31st October:
2pm technical /dress rehearsal
Performance times 5pm to 10.30pm
No previous experience is needed, and we welcome experienced performers, young and old.
