Dancers needed for Outdoor Spectacular

As part of a special collaboration with Creative Scene, outdoor arts experts Walk the Plank are recruiting dancers for their night-time spectacular"Spellbound". This performance will take place as part of Batley Festival on Saturday 26th September 2015.

The Show:
Spellbound is a thrilling tale of love, jealousy, betrayal and daring inspired by the Ramayana, an ancient story from India. We follow the destiny of soon to be King and Queen, Rama and Sita and the twist of fate that sees their future placed in peril.

Spellbound takes place at dusk and uses shadow theatre with real life performers in place of traditional puppetry. An original soundtrack, live theatrical narration and sumptuous special effects all add to the performance which has already delighted over 15,000 people across the UK.

Casting:

Two male and two female dancers, preferably local to the Kirklees/West Yorkshire area with classical training in Bharatanatyam or Kathak dance.

Fee:
£500 set fee for week-long engagement
