Creative Scene host webinar series on Digital Deficit
Join Creative Scene this November for two insightful onling discussions about the digital deficit and cultural democracy in the time of COVID.
Exploring questions such as ‘Has COVID amplified arts exclusion?’, ‘How do we Build Back Better?’ and ‘What does a post-COVID cultural ecology look like?’ take some time out to join us on Zoom to hear provocations and conversation from leading thinkers, policy-makers and practitioners.
Confirmed contributors include: Anne Torregiani (Centre of Cultural Value), Aidan Moesby (artist, researcher and curator), Shadow Minister for Cultural Industries and MP for Batley and Spen Tracy Brabin, Dewsbury artist Stephen Turner and Proper Job’s Director Dr Chloe Whitehead.
These webinars would be suitable for artists, researchers, arts professionals working in community settings or audience development and anyone with an interest in arts exclusion.
The first webinar on Thursday 12 November (10 - 11.30am) is 'Is COVID amplifying arts exclusion', followed on Thursday 26 November (12noon - 1.30pm) by Building Back Better, A Post-COVID cultural ecology.
