The Youth in Action programme
The British Council is the UK's National Agency for Youth in Action (2007-2013), the European Programme set-up for young people.
Funded by the European Union, Youth in Action is an inclusive Programme for young people. It promotes mobility within and beyond the EU's borders, non-formal learning and intercultural dialogue.
From application forms to handy guidance notes, there is a lot of support available to help participants (young people and youth workers) or promoters (those who represent the participants and submit applications) get started.
The Youth in Action programme runs training courses throughout the year and provides a variety of training materials for youth workers and young people to prepare and implement projects.
