In essence it’s the same website but with an all new layout to make it look and feel great on smaller hand held devices. We have placed the events listings and jobs right up front on the mobile site and added some lovely new features, check out the map view of events!
As your phone knows where you are the site will pick up the events happening around you and show you where you are and where the event is.
Even better than that as you move around the country through our sister sites (Somerset and West Sussex with Swindon to launch soon) your phone will pick up events from these sites and open up reams of new possibilities when you are in new towns and places.
Of course the reverse is true as well so users of the sister sites will be checking out our events etc when they are on holiday here!
If you are someone who regularly uploads events you’ll find that we’ve made it easier to position your event by allowing you to drop the event pin on a map when you upload the event – this will prevent pins from sitting on top of each other, if you have more than one event at your location it is worth spreading them out around the venue so they don’t overlap for the users.
