Role of the Artistic Director/Chief Executive

The Board is looking for an outstanding and talented individual who will lead the Arts Centre with passion and invention to new levels of artistic achievement and financial sustainability.

You will be a confident and persuasive leader, and will inspire and motivate artists, staff, volunteers, audience, donors and other stakeholders.

You will lead BAC’s strategic thinking and planning.

You will be responsible for the artistic vision, creative, entrepreneurial and strategic leadership of BAC in consultation with the Marketing and Programming Manager. The Artistic Director/Chief Executive reports to the Trustees, and is responsible for ensuring BAC achieves its artistic, audience and financial objectives.
