PRODUCER AND PROJECT MANAGER OPPORTUNITIES: Stitched-up-theatre 2021 Yorkshire Tour

6-12 months: 1-3 days per week salary (dependent on experience)

Stitched-up-theatre have exciting opportunities for a Producer and a Project Manager ideally Yorkshire based to join their team as they prepare to tour their new contemporary opera ‘The Unravelling Fantasia of Miss H.’ in Yorkshire next year. It is the story of Doncaster born Mary Frances Heaton a music mistress unjustly locked away in Wakefield Asylum for 41 yrs. Her story is known through the embroidered samplers she left. This project is much more than the theatre/opera performance but incorporates ‘Expressive embroidery’ and performance workshops for women’s community groups and an element of heritage documentation/installation created by visual artists.
