People Helping People Local Network Events

Volunteering Kirklees, Third Sector Leaders Kirklees, Kirklees Council and Community Learning Works are hosting another series of People Helping People networking events across Kirklees in July and September. At these events, you will be able to find out more about how Volunteering Kirklees and Third Sector Leaders Kirklees are changing and will be offering new services and support packages for community organisations. You will also be able to find out about other new initiatives like Community Plus, Kirklees Youth Alliance and the More in Common Awards, and new funding and opportunities. Plus there'll be opportunities for networking and a discussion about how to get more people involved in social action in your community.

The events will be held in:
•Golcar on Tuesday 17th July from 7pm to 9pm (please note that this meeting is combined with the Ward Forum)
•Dewsbury on Thursday 19th July from 6.30pm to 8pm
•Heckmondwike on Tuesday 31st July from 10am to 12pm
•Huddersfield on Thursday 6th September from 10am to 12pm
