Partnership Director (12 month Fixed Term Contract), Leeds Dance Partnership

Leeds Dance Partnership supports and celebrates amazing dance in Leeds and beyond, led by world-class organisations and independent dance artists based in the city: Northern Ballet; Northern School of Contemporary Dance; Leeds Playhouse; Phoenix Dance Theatre; Leeds Beckett University and Yorkshire Dance. A member of the independent dance community also sits on our board. We believe that by working collaboratively, we can do more and have a much bigger impact.

We are looking for a highly motivated Partnership Director to provide strategic leadership and undertake day-to-day management and delivery. Working closely with our partner organisations, working groups and relevant networks, this is an exciting, transformative role which is the key to the success of Leeds Dance Partnership.

Based at Northern Ballet’s headquarters, you will be responsible for commissioning, capacity building, diversity, fundraising, talent, evaluation and audience development. You will work with a range of stakeholders to lead initiatives in learning and engagement, place making, research, network development and well-being.

Highly experienced in initiating, developing, and managing work programmes, you will have a strong track record in project and stakeholder management. With experience of working in the cultural or public sector and knowledge about dance, you will have well-established professional relationships and networks and experience of successful fundraising and income generation. A key task for the post holder will be to secure longer term investment to enable the sustainability of the sector and this role.

Salary: £40 – 43k
