Mind the Gap: Creative Producer

Mind the Gap is one of Europe’s leading theatre companies creating work in partnership with learning disabled artists. They tour productions regionally, nationally and internationally. Their custom designed Studios in Bradford’s iconic Lister Mills offer exemplary access and excellent quality equipment and facilities.

Mind the Gap is looking for a Creative Producer to join our busy, friendly team. This management team role involves all aspects of producing, from developing ideas and securing resources, to building the creative and production team, to realising high quality and ambitious touring productions. We are looking for someone with experience in developing live performance projects for indoor and outdoor settings. The successful candidate will enjoy working in an inclusive company alongside colleagues with a learning-disability and autism, where every day brings new opportunities, and the chance to build relationships with artists, arts and community organisations, and people involved in education, health and social care.

The Creative Producer will work as part of the Management Team (Executive Director, Artistic Director, Production Manager, Creative Engagement Producer, Academy Director, Finance Manager). This role involves taking creative ideas and realising them as practically deliverable and financially viable opportunities. This will involve building relationships and partnerships that support Mind the Gap’s artistic goals, outputs, outcomes and financial sustainability.
