Local Democracy Week 2020

Citizens, staff, schools and local organisations can take part in safe activities and online events this month to get involved in local democracy and civic life.

Local Democracy Week is a way of helping people to have a voice and be actively involved in the things that really matter in our local communities. In Kirklees, we’re celebrating our active citizens throughout October. There are covid-safe activities and online events taking place - please follow the latest covid-19 guidance when taking part.
