Learning Disabilities Programme Officer, Leeds Playhouse

Leeds Playhouse are recruiting for a creative and dynamic individual to join them in the new role of Learning Disabilities Programme Officer.

You will be responsible for developing and delivering an Alumni Programme (Buzz+1) that will support and aid the transitions of young adults who want to progress on to other activity from the Buzz Programme and work with and support their families and carers.

You will support and deliver as part of the wider Buzz Programme along with delivering an alumni programme that will include the delivery of monthly in person or online group sessions that will include Buzz young adults and their families, support workers and carers. You will liaise with other organisations as to support and develop connections for Buzz Alumni and to support relationship building across the city for young adults with learning disabilities.

You will be working in collaboration with the Learning Disabilities Programme Manager the wider Creative Engagement team, and Playhouse teams more widely along with external partners.

The post is initially for 12 months, with potential to become a longer term position depending on funding. The role is part time (17.5 hours per week)

Pay: £10,127 based on a 0.5 contract (equivalent to £20,254 if full time).
